Eyebrow Waxing or Tweezing?

June 11th 2010 15:58
It has become a trend nowadays for women to shape their eyebrows regularly. An eyebrow that has so much hair and is not well-trimmed is untidy to look at. Nowadays, part of being beautiful is having well-shaped beautiful eyebrows. Rarely that you would see women with their eyebrows unkempt.

So, how should a woman shape her eyebrows? There are many ways to do to it and the most popular of all are waxing and tweezing. Eyebrow waxing needs to be done by a professional beauty expert as it might give uneven results. One can do it at home too, however, she has to make sure that she is following the instructions on the bottle correctly or else she might have disastrous results.

Tweezing on the other hand is very economical to do and mostly can be done at home. You just need a tweezer and a mirror and you are set to go. Some people use stencils though in order to guide them.

Tweezing is obviously more economical than waxing, however, some people find it too slow and painful. Waxing is painful too but the process is faster. So, which one would you choose? The choice is always yours. It is always best to try the two at first to know which process you would like best. Some people use both processes depending on their availability and budget at hand.

The trick is to get them waxed the first time, and then tweeze every time after that. The beautician will create the right shape for your face and after that, all you have to do is maintain it. Getting them waxed every time is expensive, and you have unkempt brows in the days leading up to your next beauty appointment.

Tweezing is so much cheaper and when you've been doing it for years, it barely hurts at all! The best time to tweeze is straight after a shower, because the steam will have opened your pores, allowing the hair to be pulled out more easily.
